Overview
Support plant reliability and asset performance improvement initiatives through audits of critical spare parts, condition monitoring (ConMon) systems, inspection practices, and HVAC infrastructure. The role will help optimize maintenance strategies, improve equipment reliability, and strengthen predictive maintenance capabilities.
Responsibilities
Spare Parts & Inventory Optimization
Audit the availability of critical backup and spare parts across plant stores.
Identify inventory gaps and recommend additional critical spares to minimize downtime.
Assess spare parts stocking levels and provide optimization recommendations.
Condition Monitoring (ConMon) Enhancement
Review and fine-tune alarm and trip limits for equipment under the ConMon program.
Develop a comprehensive maintenance strategy for ConMon sensors, including calibration, inspection, and replacement plans.
Identify additional critical equipment that should be incorporated into the existing ConMon regime.
Analyze condition monitoring data and recommend improvements to predictive maintenance practices.
Maintenance Systems & Inspection Audits
Audit existing equipment inspection checklists and maintenance routines.
Benchmark current practices against reliability-centered maintenance principles.
Recommend improvements to inspection standards, frequencies, and execution processes.
HVAC System Assessment
Conduct an audit of the existing HVAC systems across the facility.
Evaluate system performance, energy efficiency, reliability, and maintenance practices.
Provide recommendations for operational improvements, reliability enhancement, and cost optimization
Qualifications
Undergraduate student (Junior or Senior Year) or recent graduate. Preferred background in
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or Maintenance & Reliability Engineering .
