NXP’s Driver & Energy Systems (DES) product line develops Battery Management System (BMS) solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as 48V automotive power management products. These products support the growing demand for vehicle electrification and must comply with strict performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
Within this organization, the Electrification Laboratory oversees System and IC validation for the complete BMS and 48V portfolios. The lab develops dedicated validation hardware and software, ensures alignment with product specifications, and collaborates closely with global design, test, and application teams to secure high‑quality product introduction into the automotive market.
We are looking for a Validation Leader to support global product development activities.
Main Responsibilities:
Represent validation in project/program reviews and provide technical guidance on validation strategy.
Build and manage the global validation plan, including schedules, resources, and tool development.
Lead System and IC validation execution, ensuring alignment with product requirements and project milestones.
Report progress, risks, and key issues to project management.
Provide technical oversight and support to validation engineers.
Define and document validation deliverables, ensuring full traceability (ELM7).
Determine validation needs in line with ISO 26262 safety requirements.
Collaborate with design, test, product engineering, and application teams to resolve deviations and product quality issues.
Profile:
Master’s degree in Electronics or equivalent.
Experience in automotive electronic product development and validation processes.
Strong lab experience in Analog and Mixed‑Signal electronics.
Knowledge of ISO‑pulse and EMC testing.
Leadership or technical coordination experience.
Programming skills in Python (automation, data analysis, or tool development).
Experience with ideally Cadence, for understanding and reviewing circuits.
Familiarity with hybrid/electric vehicle architectures is a plus.
Autonomous, structured, team‑oriented, and proactive.
Fluent English is required.
