INSEAD is seeking an IT Junior System Analyst to join our Digital department. This an apprenticeship based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau – France.
About the Job
As a Junior System Analyst, the individual will primarily be assigned to test automation activities for the Magento platform (a payment platform hosted on the Adobe Cloud). The tools likely to be used include:
- Tricentis Tosca – a no-code tool for functional test automation across UI, API, and database layers.
- Tricentis qTest – for test lifecycle and test management.
- Tricentis Testim or Tricentis NeoLoad – for performance testing.
In addition to test-related responsibilities, the analyst will also contribute to system architecture activities, including the maintenance of the team's system cartography and the preparation of roadmap proposals to support future planning and improvements.
Depending on project needs and interests, the analyst may also be exposed to development tasks within the Magento platform, offering opportunities to gain hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce technologies.
Your role within the team
- Responsible for tracking Magento maintenance items in ServiceNow: Provide customers with resolution estimates, update item status, costs, and delivery dates.
- Escalate to the technical leader for support and guidance when needed.
- Implement fixes as required.
- Actively participate in the Magento Agile Team processes, including sprint planning and stand-up meetings.
- Develop expertise in the functional process of online payments within the INSEAD context.
The ideal profile
- Ideally, you will start in September 2026 a Master in computing engineer.
- Strong logical thinking and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn from senior analysts and developers.
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious and eager to understand how systems work.
- Proficiency in English.
