In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects, ensuring they align with our business priorities and regional objectives. You will act as a key driver of the project lifecycle, exercising sound professional judgment to navigate moderately complex challenges and mitigate risks before they impact your scope.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will work with a high degree of autonomy to prioritize critical workstreams and meet rigorous deadlines. You will provide the project management expertise necessary to lead cross-functional initiatives, fostering collaboration across teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope. In this position, you are not only managing schedules but also upholding Red Hat’s commitment to integrity by ensuring that all sensitive or confidential customer information is handled with the utmost care and in full compliance with global privacy standards and internal policies.

What you will do:

  • Orchestrate Strategic Delivery: Lead and guide complex, high-impact projects by harmonizing the efforts of multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment with Red Hat’s GTM objectives.

  • Define the Vision: Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business goals into actionable project scopes, deliverables, and success metrics.

  • Master the Lifecycle: Design and execute robust project plans, managing the delicate balance between project complexity, cost, urgency, and stakeholder value.

  • Proactive Navigation: Anticipate shifts in project scope and devise agile mitigation strategies to resolve risks before they impact the mission.

  • Empower and Mentor: Build and coach high-performing, cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Facilitate critical checkpoints and provide transparent reporting on milestones, performance, and ROI to ensure every initiative delivers maximum value.

  • Foster Partnerships: Act as a trusted advisor to business sponsors, ensuring all integrated delivery plans are synchronized across the global organization

What you will bring:

  • Exceptional Communication: You are a master of facilitation and negotiation, capable of distilling complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives for any audience.

  • Relationship-Driven Mindset: Proven expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to build trust and long-lasting loyalty across diverse, global teams.

  • Grace Under Pressure: You are a versatile team player who thrives in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments, maintaining focus and productivity when the stakes are high.

  • Strategic Foresight: A deep understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and modern project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum), combined with a sharp eye for organizational change management.

  • Global Collaboration: Comfortable working within geographically distributed teams, you excel at coaching others and driving results in a cross-functional, multicultural landscape.

  • Experience & Foundation: 5+ years of proven project management experience, supported by a Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in a technical or management field. Professional certifications (PMP, Prince2, etc.) and experience with PPM tools are highly valued.
