The Opportunity Reporting to the National Business Manager, Leisure & Vending, the role of Key Account Manager - NSW Leisure & Foodservice leads a portfolio of state-based customers and drives sustainable sales and profit growth across New South Wales. In this varied role, you will develop customer strategies, negotiate trading terms, manage promotions and deliver profitable growth across a portfolio with significant revenue responsibility. This role doesn’t just focus on Account Management, a key focus is also business development – how can the Suntory Oceania footprint expand within this particular channel, so we’re looking for someone who doesn’t shy away from a healthy does of cold calling! What You'll Do Develop and execute customer growth strategies across the NSW Leisure and Foodservice channel Develop new business to drive sustainable growth to the channel Build and maintain strong Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key accounts Negotiate trading terms and commercial agreements that deliver win-win outcomes Manage customer forecasts and contribute to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process Deliver revenue, volume, profit and market share objectives Manage customer investment, trade spend and P&L performance within budget Lead the execution of national promotional programs at a state level Partner closely with Regional Business Managers, Field Managers and field teams to maximise in-market execution Build genuine, long-term customer relationships that drive business outcomes What you'll bring We're looking for a commercially minded relationship builder and business developer who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capability. You'll ideally bring: Experience in Key Account Management, Account Management or Business Development within FMCG, Foodservice, Grocery, Wholesale, Beverage or related industries Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy Experience managing forecasts, trade spend and customer profitability Excellent negotiation and influencing skills Strong analytical capability and confidence interpreting data Exceptional planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills Ability to juggle often competing tasks and customer needs A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work autonomously A collaborative style with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams What's in it for you Grow your career – we like to promote from within and have incredible learning and development opportunities around the world.
