We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional to join our team in Dubai as part of the Area Procurement Department, supporting all Hyatt hotels across the Dubai market.
Main Responsibilities
● Procurement Operations : Lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities, ensuring cost‑effective, timely, and high‑quality sourcing aligned with company objectives.
● Supplier and Contract Management : Manage supplier relationships, conduct negotiations, oversee tendering processes, and secure optimal commercial terms through well‑structured contracts.
● Market and Spend Analysis : Monitor market trends, perform price comparisons, evaluate purchasing practices, and prepare analytical reports to support strategic decision‑making.
● Compliance and Audit Control : Ensure adherence to legal requirements, company policies, ethical standards, and audit expectations.
● Sustainable Procurement Initiatives : Implement environmentally responsible sourcing practices, evaluate supplier sustainability performance, and promote green procurement across the hotel.

● Procurement Expertise: Strong capability in strategic sourcing, category management, spend analysis, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and cost optimization.
● Contract Management Skills: Ability to review contracts, understand key commercial terms, ensure compliance, manage risks, and evaluate supplier performance.
● Presentation and Reporting Skills: Competence in transforming procurement data and insights into clear presentations.
● Advanced Excel and Data Analysis: Experience with PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards, and data interpretation for procurement reporting is desirable.
● AI Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other AI tools to enhance research, analysis, communication, and workflow efficiency is desirable.
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is desirable.
● Hands-on experience with the BirchStreet Procurement System will be considered a distinct advantage.
