To support our continued growth and ensure excellence across our laboratory network, we’re looking for a Global Laboratory Manager to join our team in Lyon (HQ Gerland).Reporting to the R&D and Capabilities Director, you will play a key strategic role by leading the Global Laboratories Team, harmonizing practices across sites, and ensuring quality, compliance, and operational performance. Job Description : Define, coordinate, and deploy the global laboratory strategy across all Nemera sites (France and US).Act as the global business partner for BU Services and key reference on all laboratory topics.Ensure alignment between Business Units, plants, and QC laboratories worldwide.Oversee quality, compliance, and regulatory adherence across all lab activities.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and performance.Manage the Global Laboratories Team and directly oversee the Central Lab under BU Services.Support Laboratory Unit Managers (LUMs) across regions to ensure project alignment and consistency.Oversee budget planning and monitoring (CAPEX & OPEX) for BU Services laboratories.Act as the business partner for laboratories within BU Services.Maintain strong communication with plant QC labs, top management, and other stakeholders.Share best practices globally and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.QualificationsSo, what are we looking for?Advanced degree in a scientific field (e.g. Physical Measurement, Mechanical, Pharmaceutical Sciences).8 to 10 years of experience in laboratory management, preferably in the pharma or medical device industry.Experience in multicultural, cross-functional environments with a global or regional coordination role is a plus.Strong knowledge of GLP, ISO 17025, COFRAC or similar standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strategic mindset, autonomous, with proven leadership and influencing abilities.
