Overview
The AFH (Away From Home) Food Ventures Director is responsible for driving execution, deployment, and selective shaping of PepsiCo’s AFH Foods strategy across priority customers and markets. This role serves as a key execution leader, ensuring strategy is translated into scalable initiatives, customer programs, and capability enablement across the AFH ecosystem.
Responsibilities
1. Strategy Deployment & Business Leadership
Lead execution and rollout of the AFH Foods strategy across defined subchannels, customers, or workstreams.
Act as a thought partner by providing execution-led insights to inform strategic decisions.
Own priority initiatives or workstreams within the broader AFH Foods agenda.
2. Portfolio & Innovation Leadership
Lead execution of AFH portfolio activation initiatives in partnership with Food Ventures.
Drive customer co-creation pilots, launches, and scale-up initiatives with priority customers.
Translate portfolio and innovation strategy into activation roadmaps and execution plans.
3. Customer & Commercial Enablement
Serve as a day-to-day strategic partner to Global Customer and selected regional teams.
Lead preparation of customer-facing strategies, JBP inputs, and growth opportunities for defined priority customers.
Track performance and recommend corrective actions to accelerate results.
4. Consumer, Brand & Insight Application
Ensure consumer, operator, and customer insights are embedded into AFH solutions and propositions.
Partner with Global Categories and Marketing to adapt brand and Positive Foods narratives for AFH applications.
Translate insights into practical guidance for markets and customers.
5. Deployment, Capability & Ways of Working
Own development and deployment of playbooks, toolkits, and executional frameworks for markets and account teams.
Act as a visible leader within the AFH Foods community, sharing best practices and scaling learnings.
Support capability building and continuous improvement across the AFH model.
Qualifications
8–12 years of experience in foodservice, commercial strategy, customer leadership, or innovation roles.
Strong experience translating strategy into execution in a matrixed environment.
Exposure to global AFH / foodservice customers.
QSR experience is a plus.
Proven ability to influence cross-functionally.
