About the Role
We are looking for an AI & Strategic Alliances Manager to build, manage, and scale high-impact partnerships with key AI ecosystem partners and technology alliances. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing, playing a critical role in driving joint innovation, market expansion, and revenue growth through alliances.
You will act as both a strategic relationship owner and an internal subject matter expert on partner strategy, ensuring alliances are embedded into our go-to-market and product motions.
This is a senior, externally facing role, requiring strong executive presence, ecosystem knowledge, and the ability to operate amid ambiguity—shaping both strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic alliance initiatives with AI ecosystem organizations including Tech alliances and top-tier partners, co-innovation, solution integration, and go-to-market alignment.
Identify priority partners, engagement models, and focus areas based on market opportunity, customer demand, and F5’s strategic priorities.
Drive measurable business outcomes from alliances, including pipeline creation, partner-initiated opportunities, joint wins, and technology adoption.
Help define success metrics and track alliance contribution to revenue, pipeline, and strategic customer engagements.
Represent the company in technical partner forums, industry panels, and strategic planning sessions.
Build and maintain senior executive relationships with key stakeholders at ecosystem organizations.
Drive measurable business outcomes from partnerships, including pipeline growth, joint customer engagements orchestration, and technology adoption.
Guide and influence internal teams to leverage alliances as a core component of the company’s sales and product strategy.
Act as a central point of coordination between product, sales, marketing, and partner organizations to ensure alignment and execution.
Desired Skills & Experience
Recognized as an internal subject matter expert within your function and a trusted resource for closely related teams, including sales and marketing.
Strong foundation in alliance fundamentals, with experience aligning sales and marketing strategies and execution plans to advance account and partner strategies.
Demonstrated conceptual thinking ability to understand complex, advanced issues and their broader business implications.
Highly effective communicator who can explain complex ideas clearly, anticipate objections, and influence stakeholders—often at senior and executive levels—to adopt new perspectives.
Proven ability to translate technical concepts into digestible, business-relevant messaging for non-technical audiences.
Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and shaping strategy as well as execution.
Strong business acumen with experience working across multi‑vendor, two‑tier partner ecosystems.
Able to work with a high degree of autonomy, setting direction and driving execution with limited supervision.
What Success Looks Like
Key AI and technology partners view you as a trusted peer and strategic partner.
F5 sales and channel teams actively leverage alliances in account planning and execution.
Partnerships consistently generate pipeline, joint wins, and real customer value.
The company is visible and respected in partner ecosystems and industry forums
