SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Senior Electrical Technician to join its workforce in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, motors, generators, transformers, and control systems.Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on electrical equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.Coordinate with other departments such as instrumentation, mechanical, and operations to ensure integrated functioning of electrical systems.Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with regulatory standards.Participate in the planning and execution of electrical system upgrades, modifications, and installations.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels for electrical spare parts and components.Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and assist in their training and development.Monitor electrical parameters and alarms, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain safe and efficient operations.Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and the team.Collaborate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs, spare parts procurement, and technical support.Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to electrical systems in offshore environments.Actively participate in emergency response drills and procedures to ensure readiness for any potential incidents.
