David Harper Associate Director [email protected] My Profile See my jobs Job Description EMEA Recruitment is working with an international organization in its search for a Senior Analyst - Financial Modelling & M&A Advisory to join the team in Amsterdam. This is a newly created position due to company growth and will support both the M&A Advisory and Project Finance teams. You will become the team’s financial modelling specialist, owning the development, maintenance and presentation of complex financial models used for acquisitions, valuations and major infrastructure projects. This role is full-time, on-site 5 days a week. Responsibilities of the Senior Analyst: Build and maintain financial models supporting M&A transactions and Project Finance activities Develop valuation models and cash flow forecasts for acquisition opportunities Update and maintain existing project finance models using the latest operational and financial data Coordinate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Accounting and international teams to gather modelling inputs Analyse complex financial and commercial information, turning it into clear business insights Prepare and update management presentations based on modelling outputs Present financial models and recommendations to senior leadership, including the Group CFO when required Experience required: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline 5+ years' experience in Financial Modelling, Valuation, M&A or Corporate Finance Advanced Excel skills with strong financial analysis and modelling capability Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines Curious, analytical and eager to learn new industries and business models EMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
