The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various duties, including managing full-cycle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and partnering with internal stakeholders to support an international client portfolio. Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant: Prepare financial statements and manage complex bookkeeping under Dutch GAAP and IFRS principles Review and prepare client-specific monthly and quarterly reporting, including dividend distributions and capital contribution requests Review and coordinate Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Value Added Tax (VAT) returns Prepare audit files and act as the key contact point to assist external auditors during statutory audits Maintain active communication with shareholders, client entities, banks, and other key external stakeholders Experience required: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or similar 4-6+ years’ relevant experience (preferably within trust services, an audit firm, or financial services) Fluent in English Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP (IFRS knowledge is a plus) EMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
