Job Description
EMEA Recruitment is supporting an international organization in its search for an interim IT System & Support Administrator to join its team in Rotterdam.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with strong on-site support and system administration experience to take ownership of the local IT environment and work closely with a wider European IT function.
Key responsibilities of the IT System & Support Administrator:
Provide first-line IT support to users onsite and remotely, including C-Suite and senior stakeholders
Install, configure and maintain devices, peripherals and standard software
Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment and access
Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Azure AD
Support servers, networks, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches and routers
Maintain meeting rooms, AV equipment and IP telephony
Manage IT assets, licenses and equipment lifecycle
Support IT security, patching, antivirus and backup activities
Coordinate user communications around maintenance and system changes
Support IT projects, software rollouts and continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate profile:
3-5 years' experience in IT support or system administration
Experience supporting senior stakeholders and C-Suite
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
Experience with Active Directory/Azure AD and basic server administration
Good understanding of networking, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi and TCP/IP
Familiarity with firewalls, switches, routers and access points
Strong troubleshooting, organisation and documentation skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is advantageous
Fluent in Dutch would be ideal
Must already have the relevant right-to-work/permits
