For Lonza's Capsultes & Health Ingredients at our Site in Colmar we are looking for a driven and passionate Scientist R&D Hard Capsules to join our dynamic team !
This role is based in Colmar. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.
What you will do
Lead and contribute to scientific research projects from concept to delivery, including defining objectives, designing experiments, analyzing data, and communicating results.
Apply your scientific expertise to solve challenges, generate new ideas, and propose innovative approaches.
Collaborate effectively with internal partners to support progress toward project milestones.
Act as a growing technical expert, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues across teams and functions.
Plan and execute studies using advanced scientific principles, delivering clear documentation, conclusions, and actionable insights.
Demonstrate some project management and problem‑solving skills, progressing work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
Maintain accurate records and produce high‑quality analyses and reports, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and data‑integrity standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
What we are looking for
Required degree : Master; PhD (preferred)
Field of study : Materials science, Chemical engineering, Food sciences, Pharmaceutical sciences, Polymer sciences, Chemistry
Industrial experience in an R&D environment if Master holder
Pharmaceutical Excipients industry an asset
Languages : English (business fluent); French (business fluent preferred)
Effective communicator and collaborator, ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
