Utilised your proactive sales skills to make an impact in our group booking business
This person will be in charge of Room and banquet account MICE/ Group booking including sports, entertainment sector
Report to Director of Sales
Key Accountabilities
Proactively seek for new business from key market segments: negotiated corporate, consortia, wholesale, partnership programs, government and group (i.e. meeting, incentive, convention and event) to achieve annual room and banquet revenue targets
Support in developing sales strategy, promotions, activities and hotel’s key marketing objectives as required by DOS/ADOS
Take initiative in developing and implementing domestic and international sales calls, client receptions, sales showcases, tradeshows, group sales missions, roadshows and more and lead team together with DOS/ADOS
Track and monitor the productivity (i.e. room and banquet targets, sales calls, site inspections, entertainment, client receptions, sales showcase and more) of individual targets and update DOS/ADOS on a weekly basis
Complete weekly sales activity and month end reports, including key market highlights from assigned industry and accounts
Participate in daily morning hotel briefings (i.e. updates on key theme suite bookings, site inspections, etc…), weekly revenue meeting, monthly sales and marketing department head meeting and monthly hotel department head meetings, etc… in absence of DOS/ADOS
Requirements
Proven track recond in proactive/hunter sales position for Group booking/ MICE from hospitality industry or related
Fluency in English, Japanese or European language is an advantage
Proactive mindset and strong sense of urgency
Strong persuative and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationship internally and externally
