The Reintegration team plays a vital role in supporting prisoners to prepare for life beyond custody by identifying reintegration needs early and encouraging positive change. As a Reintegration Officer, you’ll work closely with prisoners, colleagues, and community partners to improve wellbeing and reduce reoffending. You’ll be part of a purpose-driven team focused on meaningful outcomes for individuals and the wider community.
As a Reintegration Officer in the Reintegration Department, you’ll make a positive impact by:
Supporting prisoner requests and reintegration planning
Submitting applications for internal and community-based support
Engaging and collaborating with not-for-profit and external agencies
Promoting effective throughcare and community connections
Working closely with internal teams and prisoner workers
Contributing to continuous improvement across reintegration services

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with diverse or complex cohorts
A respectful, empathetic approach with clear professional boundaries
Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
Confidence collaborating across teams and stakeholders
A background in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (desirable)
