Registered Nurse – Clarence Correctional Centre
About the Role
This is a full‑time position on a rotating roster, based at Clarence Correctional Centre, Lavadia NSW 2462 . As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be part of a dedicated health team delivering primary care to approximately 1,700 inmates from diverse backgrounds. You’ll work across modern health centres, providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a secure and structured environment.
You’ll collaborate closely with correctional staff to deliver holistic, integrated health services in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
Previous corrections or custodial healthcare experience will be highly regarded.
Position Highlights
Salary up to $131,000 AUD, depending on experience
Relocation support available for suitable candidates relocating from other parts of Australia
Uniforms, daily meals, and onsite parking provided
Contribute to rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes
Maintain safety, quality, and high standards of clinical practice

What You’ll Bring
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years’ post‑graduate experience (full‑time or equivalent)
Experience in primary health, rural health, emergency nursing, or custodial healthcare
Commitment to ethical practice and person‑centred care
Willingness to complete all compliance checks including medical, drug & alcohol screening, and background checks
Please note: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must hold valid Australian working rights.
