Missions clés
Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies d'approvisionnement globales pour les matières premières et les catégories chimiques. · Diriger les négociations avec les fournisseurs, les RFQs, les appels d'offres et les activités de benchmarking. · Collaborer avec des parties prenantes mondiales au sein des fonctions Achats, R&D, Fabrication et Supply Chain. · Soutenir les initiatives de transformation et de gestion du changement au sein d'une organisation mondiale complexe. · Conduire la performance des fournisseurs, l'innovation, la durabilité et les stratégies de gestion des risques.

Job Description
EMEA Recruitment is delighted to partner with a global leader in the FMCG industry to recruit a Direct Procurement Manager as the business continues through an exciting transformation.
This opportunity is suited to a candidate with a strong educational background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline, combined with proven Procurement experience within raw materials or chemicals categories.
As Procurement Manager, you'll shape and execute Procurement strategies across global, regional, and local markets while driving innovation, sustainability initiatives, and strategic supplier partnerships across the Direct category.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing global sourcing strategies for raw materials and chemical categories
Leading supplier negotiations, RFQs, tenders, and benchmarking activities to deliver competitive cost savings
Collaborating with senior global stakeholders across Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain functions
Supporting transformation and change management initiatives within a complex global organization
Driving supplier performance, innovation, sustainability, and risk management strategies
Candidate Profile:
Degree-qualified in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific field
5+ years’ experience in Direct Procurement, Chemicals Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing
Strong understanding of chemical raw materials, technical specifications, and supplier markets
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for leveraging data, systems, and digital tools to drive Procurement performance
Fluent English language skills; additional European languages would be beneficial
