Overall responsibilities and duties: The mission to have all series production documents under control by lean manufacturing activities and aligned with PFMEA, Working Instructions and Control Plan, lay out projections and continuous improvement. The main missions of the role are: Leads together with the division specialists the new processes implementation. Commissioning / qualifications in his/her plant and/or supports series production. Continuous improvement (Hoshin, scrap reduction, TPM…). PFMEA development and control. SMED activities to improve changeover. Working Instruction aligned with lean manufacturing. Key Characteristic control Monitoring Direct Labor efficiency. Control and administration of floor documents. Line lay out optimization. Plant Lay Out update. Specific deliverables from customers related to the production process. Support and participate in the creation of methods to ensure the performance of the site’s management systems. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum education level: Engineering Language: Fluent English Minimum 3 years of experience in the Automotive Industry Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position Lean Manufacturing Core tools (PFMEA, Control plan, PPAP) SMED for change over Skills and competencies Ability to train and coach direct operators Continuous improvement mind set Fluent English language knowledge written and spoken Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans Basic knowledge of Mexican health, safety, energy, and environmental standards. Basic knowledge and identification of environmental aspects and impacts.
