About the Richmond Health Centre
Located at RAAF Base Richmond, the oldest Air Force base in NSW, 50km NW of Sydney and home to the C-130J Hercules medium transport aircraft. The facility provides primary medical, aviation medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to Defence members. The base also operates a 24-hour low dependency ward, closed over the weekend. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1630 Mon-Thurs, half day 0730-1400 Friday.
What you’ll do
Cover planned and unplanned leave for shift between Monday and Friday
Delivering safe and accurate dispensing services in line with clinical standards
Managing medication inventory and supporting efficient pharmacy operations
Promoting safe and effective use of medications for patients and clinicians
Providing technical advice and support to health practitioners
Ensuring compliance with legislation, Defence policies, and quality standards
What you bring
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
Minimum 2 years’ post-internship experience in hospital, community, or defence pharmacy
Strong understanding of medication safety, dispensing, and inventory management
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Commitment to ongoing CPD and professional standards
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Membership of PSA or SHPA (desirable)
Australian Citizenship to obtain required security clearance
