The facility provides primary medical, aviation medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to Defence members. The base also operates a 24-hour low dependency ward, closed over the weekend. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1630 Mon-Thurs, half day 0730-1400 Friday. What you’ll do Cover planned and unplanned leave for shift between Monday and Friday Delivering safe and accurate dispensing services in line with clinical standards Managing medication inventory and supporting efficient pharmacy operations Promoting safe and effective use of medications for patients and clinicians Providing technical advice and support to health practitioners Ensuring compliance with legislation, Defence policies, and quality standards What you bring Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a pharmacist Minimum 2 years’ post-internship experience in hospital, community, or defence pharmacy Strong understanding of medication safety, dispensing, and inventory management Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Commitment to ongoing CPD and professional standards Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team Membership of PSA or SHPA (desirable) Australian Citizenship to obtain required security clearance Who we are Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.
