The base is one of the busiest in NSW, employing over 4500 people. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1530 Monday - Friday. What  you’ll  do   Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members   C onducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care . U ndertaking assessments, in tervention s, managing medications, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount     What you bring   Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse One of the following: ACMHN credentialed Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing Mental Health trained nurse / UK trained undergraduate Mental Health Nurse Minimum two years’ Post RN general registration experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting     Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)   Australian Citizenship  required   to obtain Baseline Security Clearance Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care   Who we are   Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.   Through our partnership with Bupa, we provide integrated on-base healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel across 45+ locations.   Interested?
