Company Description The Standard, Pattaya Na Jomtien is a new beach resort opening in 2025 in Na Jomtien, Pattaya, a destination known for its beaches, cuisine, and relaxed way of life. The resort features a playful 60s-inspired design, a vibrant beach club, and lush garden lounges that blend rest and entertainment. Private rooms and suites are designed to provide a sense of tropical, tranquil escape while supporting an energetic, dynamic guest experience. Guests can choose between high-energy activities or quiet relaxation, with the flexibility to enjoy both. The Standard, Pattaya Na Jomtien aims to be a distinctive design-led resort for travelers seeking a modern, immersive beach experience. The Front Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pattaya, responsible for overseeing all Front Office operations at The Standard, Pattaya Na Jomtien . This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences through effective management of front desk operations, guest services, concierge, transportation, and guest relations. The Front Office Manager leads and develops the Front Office team while maintaining operational efficiency, service excellence, and adherence to brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing arrivals and departures, overseeing room allocation and inventory coordination, resolving guest concerns, monitoring service quality, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. The Front Office Manager works closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Revenue Management, and other operational teams to maximize guest satisfaction and operational performance. This role also supports staff training and development, budget management, and the implementation of policies and procedures. During the pre-opening phase, the Front Office Manager will play a key role in establishing operational standards, recruiting and training team members, and ensuring readiness for the resort's successful launch. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Front Office Operations and Guest Services Management , with experience in luxury hospitality, lifestyle hotels, or resort environments. Strong knowledge of hotel operations , including front desk procedures, room inventory management, guest relations, concierge services, and service recovery. Experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire employees to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Proven ability to manage departmental performance, budgets, productivity, and quality standards while achieving operational objectives. Strong understanding of revenue management principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with Reservations, Sales, and Revenue teams to optimize occupancy and guest satisfaction. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Thai or other regional languages is an advantage. Experience in pre-opening hotels or resorts is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS), guest service technologies, and related hospitality software. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
