Le poste en détail

The HR department at INSEAD focuses on talent development and management, implementing strategies to attract, develop, and retain top professionals. It plays a key role in promoting a culture of learning and innovation within the institution.

INSEAD is seeking a Learning Specialist, Talent Development to join our Human Resources department. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. A hybrid working model is in place: 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

This Talent Development function is entering a significant transformation phase. Over the next two years, we will implement learning technology projects (new LMS/HRIS), reshaping how training is structured, delivered, tracked and experienced across the organisation. We are therefore looking for a professional who is operational, adaptable, and eager to contribute to this evolution.

About the Job

The purpose of the role is to support the school’s mission by coordinating holistic learning opportunities and solutions for staff globally at individual, team, and organisational levels. This position combines strong operational ownership of the training plan with active involvement in learning transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Role Within the Team

Learning Plan Management

  • Advise staff and managers on training needs aligned with current and future objectives
  • Co-create the annual learning portfolio with HRBPs and Talent Development team members
  • Lead the annual Learning Request Campaign
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyse upskilling requests
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making
  • Finalise the learning plan and liaise with external partners
  • Activate and monitor the plan with HRBPs, managers, and staff
  • Organise training sessions and coordinate with participants and providers
  • Create learning communities and gather feedback to assess impact and return on experience

Reporting & Data Management

  • Coordinate preparation of the monthly learning dashboard and provide qualitative analysis
  • Monitor learning-related metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements

Transformation & Systems Implementation (LMS + HRIS)

  • Contribute actively to the implementation and operational deployment of new learning modules
  • Support change management efforts by translating technical changes into practical processes
  • Develop and maintain clear processes aligned with new system capabilities
  • Serve as SME support for Oracle and online learning tools

This role will progressively evolve as systems are implemented and stabilised, requiring flexibility and a forward-looking mindset.

Legal & Compliance (France)

  • Coordinate training-related French legal obligations and declarations
  • Identify areas of improvement in audit requirements
  • Prepare required documentation for Work Council meetings
  • Launch and manage annual mandatory training discussions

Ongoing Operational Support to the Talent Development Team

  • Manage administration of online learning tools
  • Design and analyse feedback forms
  • Coordinate logistics for online and in-person TD events
  • Handle billing and invoicing in collaboration with Procurement
  • Develop and continuously improve standard operating procedures

The Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor or Master level education or equivalent with relevant expertise in Human Resources
  • Minimum of 7 years’ professional experience, ideally within HR or Learning & Development
  • Strong knowledge of French L&D legislation
  • Good digital savviness (experience with online learning tools, Microsoft Office Suite, data handling, Canva, AI tools)
  • Experience working with training data, reporting and dashboards
  • Ability to influence without formal authority
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and balance operational and strategic perspectives
  • Strong Client Focus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Adaptable, resilient and comfortable in evolving environments
  • Experience with an LMS and/or Oracle
  • Prior experience managing a training plan end-to-end
  • Experience contributing to system implementation or change management projects

Who We Are Looking For

Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys building structure while embracing change
  • Is operationally rigorous but strategically curious
  • Sees systems implementation as an opportunity, not a disruption
  • Wants to actively contribute to reshaping how learning is experienced at INSEAD
