In-Home Furniture Repair Technician

RH is seeking an In-Home Furniture Repair Technician to repair and restore products from our broad assortment of furniture and accessories, ensuring they meet our quality standards. This role is client-facing, with regular visits to clients’ homes across your assigned territory. Delivering first-class service through expert craftsmanship, clear communication, and relationship-building is at the heart of this position.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repair and restore furniture to first-quality standards in customers’ homes, RH Galleries, and Home Delivery Centers
• Provide quality assurance and communicate feedback to strengthen continuous improvement
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
• Promote a culture of safety and adherence to best practices
• Demonstrate adaptability to evolving priorities and client needs

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• A spirit of teamwork, ownership, urgency, and attention to detail
• Technical expertise in furniture repair, including wood, leather, fabric, coatings and finishes on varied surfaces such as metal, stone, marble, and concrete, and knowledge of framing and furniture construction methods
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to deliver first-class client experiences
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with professionalism
• Willingness and flexibility to travel within the assigned geographic territory.
• Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the country in which they are applying at the time of application
• Proficiency in English is required due to the international nature of our business and the need to communicate with global teams
• Valid Driver’s License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift, move, and mobilize items weighing up to 34 kg using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Flexibility to accompany teams on home deliveries and enter client residences to support service excellence
• Capability to perform physical tasks safely while working in varied residential and warehouse environments, including standing, walking, bending, or lifting
