This role is responsible for people management, organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and internal communication. Acting as a strategic HR partner to the business and global HR teams, the role ensures that HR practices and cultural initiatives foster engagement, compliance, and a performance-
driven environment aligned with BBVA

Essential Talent & Culture Leadership role for shaping and sustaining a high-performing, inclusive and development-focused culture that enables business growth. Through effective people management, and culture initiatives, Talent & Culture France contributes directly to BBVA France’s business priorities and enhances the integration of local HR practices with the global Talent & Culture agenda. The role strengthens organizational agility, employee engagement, and the ability to attract, develop and retain top talent.

About the job:

Key Responsibilities

  • People Administration & Employee Lifecycle Management: manage the full employee lifecycle, including HR administration, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance with local and global standards.

  • Talent Development & Organizational Design: lead talent development programs, learning initiatives, succession planning and organizational design to build capabilities and performance.

  • Compensation & Reward: design, implement, and monitor competitive compensation frameworks and reward programs to retain and motivate talent.

  • Employee Relations & Labor Engagement: serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations, working closely with institutional counterparts, employee representatives and legal advisors to promote fair practices and resolve issues.

  • Culture & Internal Communication: champion BBVA’s values and culture by leading internal communication campaigns, engagement initiatives, cultural programs, and employee feedback mechanisms. 

  • Employer Branding: collaborate with global HR, communications, and employer branding teams to strengthen BBVA’s position as an employer of choice and attract key talent. 

  • HR Governance & Policy Implementation: develop, implement and standardize HR policies, procedures and best practices that support people management and organizational priorities.

  • HR Reporting & Metrics: provide HR insights, reporting and analytics to support strategic decision-making and inform leadership on workforce trends and performance. 

Job requirements

  • +15 years of experience in corporate environments (connected to banking)

  • Experience in human resources, people management, organizational & cultural transformation and process improvement.

  •  Experience in HR administration, compensation & benefits, employee relations and legal compliance. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, analytical approach and results-oriented mindset.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce strategic deliverables and executive-level materials with high attention to detail. 

  • Leadership experience managing and developing teams, driving cultural change, and leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience working with global HR teams, employer branding and internal communication strategies.
