This was first used as a mobilisation and training area during WWI and was formally established in the early 1940’s. It is home to the Headquarters of the Combined Arms Training Centre, Army Knowledge Centre and Schools of Artillery & Transport. The health centre services up to 4000 Defence members and provides primary medical, aviation medical, outpatients, nursing, physiotherapy, dental, pharmaceutical and mental health. An RN led 12-bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7 with GP on-call offsite. Morning unscheduled walk-ins (Sick Parade) standard operating hours generally from 08:00 - 10:00 Saturday and Sunday. What you’ll do Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years in a GP Setting (GPT counts) CPR certification (HLTAID009) within last 12 months Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care Who we are Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.
