Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, you’ll guide a team of Supervisors and Case Officers to ensure safe, secure and respectful operations. You’ll play a key role in promoting rehabilitation and reintegration, while fostering an inclusive and culturally sensitive environment where everyone feels supported and valued. As a Functional Manager – Accommodation in our Clarence team, you’ll make a positive impact by: Leading static and dynamic security operations within your designated area Managing inmate accommodation, placement and risk management processes Guiding case and sentence management to support rehabilitation outcomes Overseeing staffing, performance, development and team engagement Ensuring compliance with legislation, policy and duty of care requirements Driving continuous improvement across safety, service delivery and operational performance About Clarence Correctional Centre Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia. Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast, approximately 6 hours’ drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, the region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes and some of the best Australian beaches.
