FRAMATOME - Health Safety & Environmental Advisor

The Health and Safety advisor’s mission, responsibilities, and competencies in particular cover: Reporting to the Project Health Safety and Environmental Manager on Health Safety and Environmental issues, performance and areas that require improvement, Producing reports as required to the Project Health Safety and Environmental Manager Support Framatomes Site Supervision in Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Matters, Co-ordination and co-operation with the Principal Contractor, Support Framatomes Subcontractors and others as necessary on Health Safety and Environmental issues, Monitoring compliance with, and enforcing, site safety rules and procedures, Ensuring adherence / compliance with UK Legislation & regulations and the clients procedures and standards, Reviewing method statements and risk assessments including Framatome’s subcontractors’ documentation, Monitoring Subcontractors’ activities against approved method statements and risk assessments, Attend daily Health Safety and Environment Morning / End of day meetings, Attend Health Safety and Environment Team briefs, Performing any required investigations into Accidents or Near Misses, Carry out onsite work place inspections
