The Storekeeper is responsible for inventory management, procurement, cost control, and contributes to optimizing the profitability of raw material costs, while ensuring product quality and compliance with hygiene standards.

In particular, in the case of receiving perishable goods, she/he ensures that products are in perfect condition upon delivery, in accordance with HACCP standards.

She/he ensures proper compliance with purchasing procedures, in collaboration with the Finance Department, including the correct processing of purchase orders, delivery notes, and corresponding invoices.

She/he is responsible for conducting inventories and completing inventory reports.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Inventory Management
  • Receive, check, and store goods.
  • Verify the qualitative and quantitative compliance of deliveries.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of stock movements (in/out).
  • Manage product rotation (FIFO / expiry dates).
  • Conduct regular inventories and analyze discrepancies.
  • Minimize losses, breakage, and food waste.
Procurement
  • Monitor orders based on the restaurant’s needs.
  • Manage products specific to Italian cuisine
    (fresh products, PDO items, pasta, flours, cheeses, cured meats, oils, wines, etc.).
  • Monitor and evaluate existing suppliers.
  • Participate in sourcing new products and suppliers in coordination with the Chef and Management.
  • Test and propose new items aligned with the restaurant’s identity.
Development and Monitoring of Recipe Costing Sheets
  • Participate in the preparation of recipe costing sheets in collaboration with the Head Chef.
  • Calculate food costs and cost prices.
  • Update costing sheets according to recipe changes or supplier price fluctuations.
  • Monitor the impact of costing sheets on margins and profitability.
  • Ensure proper implementation of costing sheets in the kitchen.
Control and Budget Monitoring
  • Verify supplier invoices and ensure their accuracy.
  • Monitor food costs and analyze consumption.
  • Participate in purchase budget monitoring.
  • Propose cost optimization actions.

  • Inventory variance rate.
  • Compliance with purchasing budget.
  • Food cost and gross margin.
  • Quality and relevance of recipe costing sheets.
HYGIENE & SAFETY
  • Follow all hygiene and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Comply with all storage procedures for goods and equipment.
  • Ensure full product traceability.
  • Follow all fire safety and evacuation procedures.
  • Complete all hygiene and safety training required by Management.
  • Ensure proper organization and cleanliness of the delivery area.
PROCEDURES & STANDARDS
  • Protect the security and confidentiality of customer, supplier, and colleague information.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company equipment and data.
  • Follow all company and/or departmental procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with uniform standards, name badge, and professional appearance.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Food inventory and stock management.
  • Preparation and analysis of recipe costing sheets.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian products.
  • Awareness of food cost and margins.
  • Excellent command of IT tools (Excel, management software).
  • Kitchen experience is a plus.

  • Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
  • Support colleagues and ensure proper understanding of their duties.

Offer details:

  • Status : Employee – Niveau IV – Echelon 1
  • Trial period : 3 months renewable once
  • Weekly working hours : 39 hours
  • Gross monthly base salary scale: €2.300 - €2.500

A food allowance  Allocated according to the guaranteed minimum, under reserve to fulfill the conditions set by the legal and contractual provisions in place.
Annual Vacations : 25 days (in proportion of the time of presence).
Bank Holidays Guaranteed : 10 bank holidays per year.

Public transports : Reimbursement of public transports upon presentation of a valid ticket up to 80%.
Laundry : You are eligible to dry-clean your uniform or working clothes.

Profit-sharing: You are eligible, on a pro rata basis according to your actual time of presence, for profit-sharing. Its purpose is to involve employees in improving the company’s performance in terms of results and business development.
Employee savings scheme (Participation): You are eligible, on a pro rata basis according to your actual time of presence, for participation. Its purpose is to allow employees to share in the company’s results.
