Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Aircraft Control Modelling & Simulation work package leader (m/f) to join our Design Office based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a passionate, cross-functional team: the Aircraft Control Modelling & Simulation and V&V entity. Our mission is mission-critical: we design, deploy, and validate the high-fidelity simulation environments that define the flight control systems of tomorrow.

As a Modelling & Simulation Work Package Leader, you will spearhead the development of advanced simulation platforms—essential tools that enable our engineers to design, test, and certify flight control systems. You will hold full accountability for Time, Cost, Quality, and Performance (TCQP) targets within your perimeter.

• Drive budgets and secure delivery commitments (Cost/Time/Quality) within a complex, multi-project environment.

• Unite and challenge a cross-functional team (internal staff and subcontractors) to foster a culture of excellence and high performance.

• Negotiate critical milestones with stakeholders and ensure strict adherence to the technical roadmap.

• Anticipate bottlenecks, secure development trajectories, and provide strategic reporting to senior management.

• Deploy automation solutions and harmonize processes to enhance development quality and agility.

As a Senior Technical Leader, you blend deep aeronautical mastery specifically in flight physics and control laws with a relentless drive for project excellence. Your strategic command of the V-cycle and high-fidelity simulation makes you a decisive authority within the Design Office.

• Advanced expertise in aircraft architecture and flight control systems. 

• Strategic Project Leadership: Proven track record in managing high-stakes Work Packages, maintaining full accountability for Budget, Planning, and Quality while driving multidisciplinary teams to success.

• Lead-level proficiency in high-fidelity modeling and V&V methodologies. 

• A natural ability to bridge the gap between deep technical diving and stakeholder influence. You unite experts, guide decision-makers, and uphold the highest standards of Ethics and Compliance.

• Expert familiarity with industry-standard tools (JIRA, GIT, Jenkins) and a strong command of Airbus test environments (VSIM-D, SIMPA, A/C 0) to accelerate delivery.
