We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

What you need to know about the role:
This Consumer Product Owner role (Italy/France/Spain) drives consumer strategy, commercial results, and product performance. You’ll unify PayPal consumer experiences to ensure they work seamlessly together across the market.

The PayPal Consumer team builds products used daily to send, spend, and manage money. You’ll own strategy, roadmap, and delivery for your market, partnering with product, design, engineering, and marketing to drive growth and deliver a best-in-class experience.

You’ll lead strategy and execution of initiatives that boost engagement, revenue, and expansion. Working cross-functionally, you’ll build impactful consumer experiences and own key growth levers, accountable for market and enterprise KPIs.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design and define the portfolio strategy for an identified country, supporting the execution of local product priorities, and analyzing and interpreting product performance.
  • Implement hands-on execution coordination of local and global cross functional initiatives.
  • Manage process escalations to remove obstacles for the strategy execution while proposing and supporting change implementation to strategy
  • Collaborate and define priorities based on global commercial product strategy
  • Research new opportunities and establish and negotiate new partnerships
  • Engage with ongoing partners regularly, improving relationships and operational efficiencies
  • Direct, set, and define customized market/regional specific product and technology strategies
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and oversee the delivery of key product and platform infrastructures
  • Set strategic direction and roadmap to enhance product experience and business metrics

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

What do you need to bring:

  • Minimum of 6+ years' experience with responsibility for consumer and product activities.

  • Proven track record for building, launching, and maintaining high-scale, successful products in a highly matrixed organization ​

  • Experience strategically influencing and aligning senior stakeholders and key partners to drive action, results and change consistently ​

  • Demonstrated commercial success scaling a segment in a global, matrixed organization​

  • Hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" mindset, with the ability to be a driver and change agent in an organization.​

  • BA is required
