Job Description
The Point of Care (POC) team leads the development, growth, and execution of Publicis Health Media's Point of Care offering. The team is responsible for advancing channel strategy, marketplace partnerships, activation excellence, and education across the organization to ensure clients have access to best-in-class healthcare media solutions.
Position Summary
The Associate Director, Point of Care Strategy & Activation is responsible for leading Point of Care strategy, planning, and activation across assigned clients and brands. This role serves as a key subject matter expert, partnering with Strategy, Investment, Analytics, and Activation teams to develop channel recommendations, drive marketplace initiatives, manage partner relationships, and ensure successful campaign execution.
The Associate Director provides day-to-day leadership for Point of Care programs, oversees team workload and development, and plays a critical role in advancing PHM's Point of Care capabilities, partnerships, and client solutions.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Lead development of Point of Care recommendations, investment strategies, and tactical plans across assigned brands
Translate client business objectives into Point of Care strategies and actionable media recommendations
Present Point of Care plans, marketplace updates, and strategic recommendations to internal and client stakeholders
Own Point of Care POVs, marketplace intelligence, and channel best practices
Contribute to development of cross-brand and cross-franchise Point of Care strategies
Marketplace & Partner Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Point of Care media partners, publishers, and vendors
Evaluate marketplace opportunities, partnership offerings, and investment recommendations
Lead office and tactic selection based on brand objectives, audience needs, and marketplace insights
Develop HCP targeting frameworks, prioritization strategies, and business rules across brands and franchises
Monitor marketplace trends and identify opportunities for innovation and growth
Client Leadership & Business Management
Serve as a primary Point of Care contact for assigned clients and internal teams
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure Point of Care recommendations align with broader brand and media strategies
Provide ongoing marketplace education and consultation to client teams
Support new business initiatives, capability presentations, and growth opportunities as needed
Ensure all Point of Care deliverables are completed accurately, strategically, and on time
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor Supervisors and junior team members
Delegate work appropriately and oversee day-to-day team priorities and workload
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support
Foster collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing across the team
Support staffing, resource planning, and team development initiatives
Operational Excellence
Oversee execution of Point of Care planning and activation processes
Ensure adherence to established business rules, partner agreements, and operational standards
Advance best practices, process improvements, and workflow efficiencies
Support forecasting, reporting, delivery validation, and performance tracking efforts
Collaborate with PMX, APEX, and other Groupe teams to improve channel effectiveness and integration
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in healthcare media, media planning, media investment, channel strategy, partnerships, or related disciplines
Experience within Point of Care, HCP marketing, healthcare media, retail media, Out of Home, or pharmaceutical advertising required
1+ years of people management or team leadership experience
Experience leading client-facing workstreams and presenting recommendations to stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing experience preferred

Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 - USD $129,987.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
