Income Audit Associate

Overview of the role We are looking for a passionate individual who will ensure proper and timely recording of hotel revenue, supervise the works of the auditor and coordinate with other departments on matters relating to audit transactions and findings. Key Accountabilities: Assists the Management in reviewing the daily revenue of the Hotel by preparing the Daily Sales Statistics (DSS) report which reflects all the revenue of the Hotel on a daily, month-to-date, and year-to-date basis and reveals the variance of the revenue against the budget (month-to-date) and last year’s revenue (month-to-date). Checks the accuracy of reports and makes the necessary adjustments to correct any discrepancies. Checks the validity of transactions and verifies supports and approvals. Periodically reviews the related results of Risk Management audits and external audits to ensure that the hotel consistently complies with established policy and procedures. Recommend changes and enhancements to existing policies and controls to make sure that they are current and up to date, adequate, functional and utilized in accordance with standards established by the Hotel. General Requirements: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or BS Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant Should have at least 2-3 years experience in the same capacity Above average knowledge of a hotel’s revenue process and documentation requirements.
