The Workforce Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing staffing plans within the organization (Motor & Home). This role combines analytical skills with operational insight and project management capabilities, focusing on supporting an efficient and flexible workforce, including the implementation of transformation initiatives and new projects. What you’ll be doing: 1. Data Analysis and Planning Development: Develop various workforce scenarios, including multi-skilling and organization of front/back-office functions. Translate operational goals and KPIs into effective staffing plans based on data and figures. Analyze trends and data to continuously improve planning accuracy and anticipate future needs. 2. Operational Management of Schedules: Create, manage, and adjust staff schedules within a 24/7 environment, considering leave, sickness, and other absences. Communicate schedules to relevant teams and ensure timely alignment. Responsible for leave management and other personnel administration related to planning. 3. Project Support and Transformation: Contribute to the implementation of transformation projects, such as establishing new workforce models and organizational structures. Long-term, support the implementation of AI projects and other innovating initiatives on the operational floor. 4. Operational Insight and Collaboration: Ensure good operational alignment between planning and actual on-the-ground realities. Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements. What you’ll bring: Strong analytical skills: Experience in interpreting data and figures, translating them into practical schedules. Experience with workforce management tools: Preferably with WFO/WFM systems. Experience with complex scheduling: Proven track record in creating and managing schedules in a 24/7 environment. Operational understanding: Insight into operational processes and dynamics on the floor. Project management skills: Ability to support and guide transition and implementation projects. Excellent communication skills: Capable of clearly explaining plans and changes, and gaining buy-in. Flexible and proactive: Adaptability to change priorities and initiative-taking for continuous improvement. Preferred Experience and Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience with workforce planning in an operational 24/7 environment is a plus. Experience with data analysis and planning tools is must.
