The core mission of the Infrastructure and Telecom, Media & Technology (“INF & TMT”) APAC team, based in Asia, is to structure and deliver tailor‑made financing solutions (i) to TMT clients including Investment Grade and Non‑Investment Grade corporates, financial sponsors, and infrastructure and alternative asset managers and (ii) a full suite of project finance and advisory services across key infrastructure sectors. These sectors include digital infrastructure (data centres, fibre networks, telecom towers and other digital connectivity platforms), transport, power grids and regulated utilities, social infrastructure and PPPs, energy transition assets (such as smart metering and EV charging), and waste and water assets throughout the APAC region. The INF & TMT Group’s group covers the APAC region. To achieve this mission, the successful VP/Director will contribute directly to the business in APAC by: Actively originating & executing financing mandates (including project & acquisition finance) in the Digital Infrastructure sub-sector and broader INF & TMT sectors through the entire lifecycle of the mandate (including the determination and negotiation of financing terms & conditions, the management of the due diligence process, preparing & drafting credit applications, term sheet and preparation of offers and agreements, negotiating and executing loan documentation assisted by external and/or internal lawyers); Managing financing mandates and interacting with clients and advisors, review and negotiation of documentation, analysis of the profitability, identification and analysis of risks, coordination and support of other internal teams involved in the transaction and responsibility of the closing process; Take full responsibility for the execution of transactions she/he's responsible for, acting within the INF & TMT team and in close cooperation with other SG stakeholders (DCS, CPM, RISQ, IFD and other product lines); Control and monitor risks and maintains high standards in the transactions in which she/he's responsible for; Develop and maintain quality, long-term relationships with clients; Actively contribute to the team's budget either through the deals he/she's responsible for or transversalities for which he/she's in charge of; Actively contribute to the X-Sell activity, including via Capital Markets, Hedging and IBD X-sell; Maintaining a thorough knowledge of developments and current trends in the INF & TMT sectors; Maintaining a strong personal network of industry, client and peer contacts; and Playing an active role in the on-the-job training and development of the business line junior staff, including F&A junior pool.
