The Trading Team oversees executing equity derivatives trades on behalf of clients, and risk managing the resulting exposure on the banks’ trading books. The Trainee will cover all equity derivatives products, with a specific focus on exotic options. By nature of the trades, the Trainee will also have to familiarize himself with secondary position risks on the following asset classes (Rates, Credit, Foreign exchange). The Trading Team is part of the Equity Market Making pole, which is made up of three Trading Teams. Depending on the global needs of the pole, the Trainee might occasionally work on topics related to the other Trading Teams. Responsibilitiies: Support & assist trading teams on day-to-day operations Maintain & improve the tools used by the desks, with a specific focus on automation Develop on specific products, a deep knowledge of parameters impact on pricing for specific products, Look at into the risk systems and tools, and understand book deformations Develop new products and strategies under the lead of a senior trader Work upon quantitative model analysis under the lead of a senior trader Establish good relationships with SALES and GBSU departments A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility.
