Transport Deputy Shift Team Leader  Location: RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, OX18   3LX   Schedule: Full time – average of 42 hours per week. 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off Salary: £35,087.50 includes shift allowance Ready to impact a better future? As a Transport Deputy Shift Team Leader in our team, you’ll help keep essential transport operations running smoothly so, along with colleagues, you can deliver critical services safely and on time. Your work has real purpose – supporting effective military operations and contributing to safer, well ‑ coordinated movement every day.   You’ll play a key role in creating an efficient, safe and well ‑ organised environment. By supporting colleagues, allocating resources and helping maintain compliance standards, you’ll make a positive impact on the communities and people our work touches.  What you’ll do as a Transport Deputy Shift Team Leader You’ll be entrusted to:  Undertake driving duties.  Take on supervisory duties when the Shift Team Leader is absent.  Support the Team Leader with the daily running and coordination of operations.  Follow procedures for reporting vehicle faults, defects and breakdowns.  Allocate trained and qualified personnel to suitable vehicles for each request.  Support cost ‑ effective and safe vehicle scheduling.  Promote a strong safety ‑ first culture with zero compromise.  Ensure compliance with Operator’s Licence requirements and relevant legislation (including ISO standards, HASAW Act and COSHH).  Report any operational, safety, compliance or risk issues to the transport leadership.  Does this sound like you?  Full Driving Licence Cat D & C (C+E Desirable) DCPC Licence for respective licences held Hold a colour perception category of the required standard to enable the issue of an Airfield Driving Permit.
