As Translational Principal Biostatistician within our Vaccines Biostatistical Sciences team, you are the ultimate scientific owner of all statistical deliverables for your assigned translational statistical activities, bringing your quantitative passion to support cross-functional translational team, including translational strategic expert, biomarker lab scientist, immunology lead and research experts. This role is critical to our team’s success and offers exposure to a broad range of activities within Biostatistics and Programming and a broad range of stakeholders.

Job Summary
Assume responsibility for statistical and methodological aspects as well as delivery of translational activities under technical supervision from senior staff and manager. He/she will provide critical input on the design of experiments, the analysis of translational multi-dimensional biomarkers so that accurate assessments are made for addressing fundamental translational questions and de-risk our vaccines projects, while ensuring compliance with processes expectations.
Main responsibilities:
Lead statistical aspects on translational experiments, including protocol developments.
Prepare related statistical analysis plan, including multiple panels of exploratory readouts, integrated analysis to predict immunogencity and reactogenicity. Perform statistical analysis according to SAP.
Provide statistical guidance on exploratory assay development in collaboration with internal and external labs. Ensure consistency of assay performance across different labs.
Develop the translational study reports with translational study team.
Conduct research on biomarker analyses and collaborate with key stakeholders on manuscript/publication support.
Utilize AI technologies to improve productivity while ensuring quality through the development and delivering automated statistical tools.
About you
Required Qualifications
Experience : experience in industry or institution working in translational medicine statistical or related field.
Technical Skills : Strong statistical computing skills with R expertise (required), proficiency in Python and/or SAS (a plus). Strong knowledge basis in advanced statistical methods (e.g., Bayesian statistics, linear and non-linear modelling, Machine learning methods) and able to conduct simulations and statistical analysis without programming support.
Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving, analytical mindset and self-management; Proven interpersonal relationships and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to influence across functions in a global environment and drive organizational change
Education: PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics, Data Science; or related discipline or a Master degree with added equivalent experience.
Digital Acumen : Ability to implement automation and digital transformation initiatives
Languages: Fluent in English (required), French for on-site collaboration

The salary range for this position is :€48 000,00 - €64 000Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
