As the Training Course Coordinator – West, you’ll play an important role in supporting the delivery and coordination of Navy training programs at HMAS Stirling. Working closely with instructors, trainees and Defence stakeholders, you’ll help manage training administration, scheduling and trainee progress across Warfare Mastery and Maritime Warfare Officer courses. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring training documentation, systems and reporting are accurate and up to date. As a Training Course Coordinator – West in the Navigation and Synthetic Warfare Training team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
Managing course schedules, timetables and training documentation
Coordinating training resources and instructor allocations
Communicating course updates with trainees and stakeholders
Monitoring trainee progress and maintaining accurate records
Supporting continuous improvement and course quality activities
Assisting with individual training plans and assessment processes

You could be a great fit if you have:
Experience coordinating training, administration or scheduling activities
Willingness to obtain Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Confidence using Microsoft Office and data management systems
Clear written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative approach and ability to build positive relationships
Understanding of Defence or RAN training environments and governance requirements
Be able to achieve and maintain a defence security clearance of NV1 or higher
