TRAINEE: Financing & Advisory (Japanese/English)

Responsibilities We are currently recruiting a Trainee to join our Financing & Advisory (F&A) group in Hong Kong on a fixed term or part time basis for 24 months . This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team to obtain hands-on experience within a fast-paced, results focused, global organization that values diversity. The successful candidate will be involved in supporting the origination, structuring and execution of a broad range of structured finance and advisory transactions in the Asian markets and for our Asian clients' projects globally. The team has an active deal flow and the successful candidate will be working in a leading global franchise on the execution of financings and debt advisories for our Asian clients with a focus on the Japanese market. Your main missions will be the following: Transaction support to the relevant deal team leader on arranging and debt advisory mandates, including Financial modeling and analysis of financial projections Review of various documentation, including information memorandum and finance documents in English and Japanese. Review of various due diligence reports in English and Japanese. Assist in preparation of credit applications and other internal approval requests Research on companies, market and industry trends, with a key focus on Japan Client related support, including Prepare presentations and pitches for clients General research Respect and adhere to compliance practices and other internal requirements Assist in reporting tools Stay abreast of developments in SG's Financing & Advisory sectors as well as current transactions and opportunities in the market. Candidates with outstanding performance may be considered for early conversion to permanent roles.
