The Trainee role is a full time 24-month contract with Societe Generale where you will have access to a diverse range of training materials to help you succeed, covering various aspects of businesses, including but not limited to technical skills, leadership development, communication skills, client service and relationship management. To be eligible, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of Trainee contract. Responsibilities Perform the processing, reconciliation, and booking of all corporate action events accurately and within the specified timeline Manage and update corporate action information in internal systems, ensuring its accurate reflection in related booking systems. Ensure the quality and completeness of recorded data, implementing controls to maintain data integrity. Review and interpret announcements related to corporate actions from various data sources, providing guidance to the team. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market specifications on corporate action events across the APAC region. Coordinate the collection and processing of elections from trading desks and clients on various voluntary events. Analyze and regularize reported discrepancies, implementing corrective measures as necessary. Provide assistance to traders by responding to specific requests with effective and innovative solutions. Ensure accurate and timely posting of corporate action movements to client accounts. Streamline workflows through automation and process Review in collaboration with global corporate actions teams. Monitor and Manage risks associated with corporate action events, implementing risk mitigation strategies. Contribute to defining specifications and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new information systems. Document and update procedures linked to sensitive processes and controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Respond promptly to incidents, developing and implementing long-term action plans to prevent recurrence. Candidates with outstanding performance will be considered for early conversion to permanent roles.
