Third Party Risk Management Specialist SME Location: Dublin / Cork (Hybrid) Department: Finance / Procurement & TPRM Reporting to: Procurement & Contracts Manager / Head of Finance Closing Date: 21 August 2026 At laya healthcare, we put our customers at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking an experienced Third-Party Risk Management Specialist SME to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a risk professional with experience in a regulated environment to play a key role in strengthening our Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework and ensuring effective oversight of critical supplier relationships. The Role As the Third-Party Risk Management Specialist SME, you will act as laya healthcare's subject matter expert for Third Party Risk Management, outsourcing governance, and supplier oversight. You will lead the end-to-end third-party risk assessment and governance process for new and existing third-party vendors, ensuring third-party vendors are assessed, governed, and monitored in line with regulatory requirements, AXA Group standards, and internal policies. Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, and IT Security, you will provide expert guidance, challenge and support to ensure robust third-party risk management practices are embedded throughout the organisation. Key Responsibilities Act as Laya’s SME for Third Party Risk Management, outsourcing governance, supplier resilience and industry regulated third party oversight. Lead third-party risk assessments, due diligence activities and supplier onboarding processes. Manage and enhance third-party risk management frameworks, policies, standards and procedures. Ensure appropriate governance and oversight of outsourcing arrangements, ICT providers and critical suppliers. Support compliance with regulatory requirements, including outsourcing obligations, DORA and operational resilience expectations. Maintain and enhance third-party and outsourcing registers, ensuring high-quality documentation and audit readiness. Monitor supplier risk, performance and compliance throughout the supplier lifecycle. Support business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience and supplier exit testing/planning activities. Prepare meaningful management information and reporting for senior stakeholders and governance forums. Deliver training and guidance to Contract Owners and business stakeholders on third-party risk management requirements. Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, AXA Group assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives. About You You'll bring strong experience in third-party risk management and a passion for driving effective governance in a regulated environment. Essential Requirements Third-level qualification in Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, Technology, Operational Resilience or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum 3 years' experience in Third Party Risk Management, Vendor Risk, Outsourcing Governance, Operational Risk, Compliance, Audit, ICT Risk or a related field. Experience working within a regulated industry environment. Strong understanding of supplier governance, risk assessment and due diligence processes. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving capabilities. Desirable Experience within insurance, health insurance, banking, financial services, fintech or another regulated sector. Knowledge of DORA, operational resilience, outsourcing frameworks and regulatory expectations. Experience with SharePoint, JIRA, Power BI or supplier risk management tools.
