Job Description Technical Requirements Languages and coding JavaScript with Python or PHP: Mandatory. You will write POC code, conduct meaningful code reviews, and debug across the stack in JavaScript. If you have not written production-grade JavaScript in the last 18 months, this role is not the right fit. You must be able to build a working POC in your chosen language independently and present it to the team with clarity. Coding is not optional in this role. You are expected to write real, demonstrable code to validate ideas, unblock the team, and prove architectural feasibility to clients. Architecture and design Application architecture: Design patterns, microservices, API design, event-driven architecture, and system modernisation strategies. System design: Scalability, fault tolerance, distributed systems, and operational observability. Cloud architecture: Production-depth experience on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Cost, performance, and security trade-offs must inform your architecture from the start. GenerativeAI and AgenticAI Hands-on experience building solutions with large language models: RAG pipelines, tool-use and function-calling patterns, multi-agent orchestration, and evaluation frameworks. You must be able to distinguish genuine use cases from noise and advise clients accordingly. Troubleshooting Methodical, full-stack debugging under pressure across application, cloud, and infrastructure layers. Communicate findings without obscuring the problem in technical noise to both engineers and clients. Own production issues from detection through to root cause and systemic resolution.
