System Architect Drone Detection Radar (m/f/d)

Tasks In this role you are responsible for defining and developing radar hardware, software and signal processing architecture at device level You define interfaces and functions across hardware, software, and DSP and drive the integration in close collaboration with a core team of engineers You analyze issues across all system layers and develop solution-oriented technical measures throughout the development and integration process While bringing the system to full functionality, you collaborate closely with different specialist teams, from clarifying requirements and quality expectations to final integration You actively support further development, maintenance and optimization and stay in close contact with production You train and mentor junior software engineers in phased‑array AESA techniques, algorithm development, and engineering best practices, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented team environment.
