Collins Aerospace is looking for a Supplier Technical Support based in Colomiers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct annual industrial maturity assessments, including capacity evaluations and quality management system (QMS) robustness review.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement improvement based on assessment findings to ensure continuous performance optimization.
  • Take full ownership of managing underperforming suppliers, closely monitor their performance, and identify root causes of deficiencies to drive corrective actions.
  • Mitigate crises at specific supplier(s) by identifying and addressing performance issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive supplier recovery plan, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
  • Coordinate with multiple customers, both internal and external, to understand their requirements and expectations, and proactively address any concerns related to supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality, engineering, and logistics, to define and execute corrective actions, driving continuous improvement in supplier performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, fostering open communication and collaboration to address issues and drive mutual success.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on supplier performance to senior management
  • Advanced in English, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in supplier performance management, supplier development, program management, or related roles, within a complex and fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • minimum of 5 years of proven experience in capacity assessment, including analyzing production capabilities, evaluating supplier capacities, and implementing strategies to optimize operational performance.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and capacity planning tools.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain management, including supplier selection, performance monitoring, and improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including forging, machining, surface treatment
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required (> 70%).

Preferred Skills

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience working in a global or multinational organization.

Travel

  • Available to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
  • Very frequent travel (~70% of the time).
