About your team and your mission You'll join the SRE team, which is responsible for providing the most efficient, scalable and reliable platform to host our code security solutions in the respect of our security requirements and SLAs, on the SaaS version. Our typical customers are companies with hundreds of developers that are leveraging hundreds of services like SaaS applications, cloud infrastructures, or internal microservices and are mature on DevOps and cloud adoption. Our products are used by different teams: Software Development and Ops teams, Application Security, Threat Response and the buying decision comes from CISOs / CTOs / Directors of Security. That’s why such roles represent key responsibilities within our organization, your work will matter and will be taken very seriously! The existing team You will be in charge of a team of 3 highly-skilled people and you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of the Foundation tribe. Ensure that our infrastructure is aligned with our customers needs and SLA/SLO requirements Deploy & maintain a monitoring policy that matches technical but also business KPIs About Data Management, as we store a lot of data for our customers or for our internal needs, you will manage, maintain and make actual services evolve to meet company goals (context: 6 PB on S3, 14 TB on Clickhouse and 350TB on Elasticsearch) Follow & deploy security best practices to ensure that GitGuardian products are aligned with security standards SOC2 implementation Security reviews from our customers Continuous improvement of our security standard regarding our customers needs Regional data compliance Deploy & maintain backup policy regarding the critical level of stored data Take part into Cloud Cost optimization (finOps) Help developers troubleshoot applications incidents and choose the best possible architecture for each product You will be part of the on-call team and you will have the opportunity to improve the experience to minimise on-call actions Write and maintain documentation about infrastructure, process & security Support our Sales teams, including participating in some customer calls, on specifics relative to SRE. Missions : Build technical decisions and strategy for the future of the platform, define quarterly goals and ensure agile/scrum organization (manage sprints and rituals), adapted to the specificities of a SRE team. Manage people and mentor them as needed to ensure their progression Prioritize the work of the team coming from the goals, the run and the urgencies Take part in defining and implementing internal and cross-team processes Participate in designing the system to improve the availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of GitGuardian's services Manage and participate to on call rotation To ensure the success of your missions, you will have to lead by example, mentor the team and establish credibility through quality technical execution. You will need to enable and monitor cross-teams collaboration, and be identified as a main point of contact for the SRE perimeter toward the organization. Your blameless and postmortem culture will be an important key to technical improvements and a serene working team. Your capacity to prioritize tasks and projects will ensure the best balance between business priorities, platform urgencies, technical debt tackling, long-term projects, and R & D projects. About you If you think you match at least 70% of these criteria, please apply! Here's what we consider essential for success in this role: Degree in engineering/computer science 2 years minimum experience in a similar management position Embrace a DevOps philosophy through Observability, Automation, Data durability, with a strong security appetite! Deep knowledge of AWS (or another Cloud Provider), Terraform, Kubernetes ecosystem Solid knowledge of *nix systems Experience in web applications/SaaS and their SDLC, Comfortable with agile project management and OKRs. Fluency in AI agentic development. French and English fluency.
