Senior Software Engineer

What you will do You will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and application support of applications using Dot Net and should be able to contribute in overall design of application collaborating with DPO and Solution architect. Should be able to work with other team members in sync. This person is also expected to play the role of Tech lead for the stable team. Responsibilities: Develop and test features according to the requirement, using appointed tools and technologies. Design the solutions working closely with Solution architect. Coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Solution Engineers, Architects, Product Owner, Product Manager and DPAO. Follow all coding/testing/security guidelines and best practices. Build, release and deploy on different environments. Support implementations/Rollouts of new features/issue fixes/enhancements in non-prod/Prod environments. Responsible for Application support and Maintenance activities Knowledge on ITSM and SLA is good to have Manage the technical roadmap of deliveries for the DPO circle Support all members of the stable team on technical / technology questions and implementing modern ways of developing. Secure technical competence for the stable team. Manage the non-functional requirements for the DPO scope, including quality, security and stability. Align with Volvo Group Security directives. Where relevant, ensure usage of common or shared technical standards, tools, and platforms, in line with our D&IT CAST and Foundation Products. Execute the gradual modernization and modularization journey. Manage the architecture for one or more digital products/solutions within the DPO Circle, spanning over Infrastructure, Integration, and Software Architecture. Align design to North Star Architecture design principle Who are you? Minimum 8+ years of experience in Dot Net Web Application development. Proficient in C#, ASP .net, SQL and .Net core Sound knowledge in programming concepts; OOPS, SOLID principles and Design Patterns Proficient in database skills using SQL Good to have experience in automating build and deployment using CI/CD features Good team player Eager to work with new technologies and processes. Must have excellent communication & presentation skills. Can navigate with ease in a multi-cultural, distributed environment and actively coordinate with various stakeholders. Strong focus on customer satisfaction, delivery quality and have a personal drive to reach objectives and targets Continuous improvement mindset and driver for changes. Experience working in Agile/Scrum team. Excellent team player. Application support experience is mandatory to have and must be willing to work in support as well when needed Primary Skill set: C#.net, .net Core, API, SQL, DevOps(CI/CD), Azure App Service/Storage/FunctionApp, Integration MQ awareness, Git/TFS Nice to have: Experience in build/deployment automation using Azure DevOps (CI/CD) Experience in SonarQube, security tools-DAST/SAST, OWASP Having Angular knowledge and pithing programming is an added advantage Ready for the next move?
