Senior SOC/CDC Engineer (m/w/d)

Introduction To further expand our operations staff for the R&S Cyber Defense and Response Center, we are looking for an experienced Senior SOC / CDC Engineer to support our global team. Tasks In the role of Senior SOC / CDC Engineer, you take technical responsibility for the CDC Detection Engineering process and further develop it. In a global team, you continuously improve detection & response capabilities (workflows and toolchain). You implement and improve alerting and detection rules. If necessary, you provide operational support to our analysts (real-time monitoring, analysis and triage of events/alarms, coaching). You work closely with our global infrastructure operations teams (e.g., Malware Defense, Vulnerability Management). You create and maintain documentation (e.g., SOPs, standards, architecture diagrams). In projects, you provide consultancy on the use of existing solutions and the integration of new tools according to security standards & best practices.
