Job Title: Senior Scientist Biochemical Analysis

As a Senior Scientist Biochemical Analysis within our BioProcess Analytics service in the BioAnalytics Department, you will contribute to the analysis of manufacturing intermediates for biotechnology products (antibodies, recombinant proteins, multispecifics) in support of early-stage manufacturing process development. Working in a digitized and increasingly automated environment using chromatographic and electrophoretic techniques (HPLC, UPLC, icIEF), you will also develop analytical methods to ensure efficient and robust process development in the context of accelerating therapeutic projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, define, and implement analytical techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis (cGE, iCIEF), and UV spectrophotometry to support process development
• Contribute to meeting KPI deadlines for initiating analyses and delivering results while proposing continuous improvement actions to optimize productivity
• Contribute to the implementation of automation and digitization processes and provide technical expertise by critically assessing result relevance
• Guide analytical investigations to ensure result validity, participate in technology monitoring, and implement new analytical techniques
• Qualify/validate and transfer analytical methods while ensuring document quality (SOP drafting, data traceability, retention)
• Represent the department within Project Groups as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), coordinating department activities related to assigned therapeutic projects
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Process Development teams and other Analysis units while contributing to collective laboratory management

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in a protein analysis laboratory with hands-on expertise in chromatographic and electrophoretic techniques.
• Experience supporting process development activities and working in regulated environments with analytical method qualification/validation

Technical and Soft Skills:

• Expertise in chromatographic analysis for protein characterization and electrophoretic techniques (iCIEF, CE-SDS), understanding of protein structure.
• You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and excel at collaborating across disciplines with multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Your ability to communicate transparently and focus on value-added activities makes you an effective project contributor

Education: Master's degree in analytical sciences, biotechnology, or related field

Languages: Fluent English and French (written and spoken)
