We are looking for a Senior Principal Vision and AI Engineer to join our R&D organization and drive advanced vision pipeline development for automotive and industrial & IoT applications. In this role, you will lead architecture definition, technical exploration, and prototype development for vision and AI solutions on MPU/MCU platforms.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to vision subsystem architecture exploration and benchmarking
- Drive technical competitive analysis and technology scouting
- Define and evaluate performance and quality metrics for vision pipelines
- Develop and assess AI-based vision solutions from concept to PoC
- Build simulation and prototyping environments
- Design and develop Linux drivers and high-level use case prototypes
- Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and system architecture teams
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
- 15+ years of experience in vision, embedded systems, or related domains
- Strong expertise in C/C++, Python, and Bash
- Solid background in image signal processing
- Hands-on experience with GStreamer, OpenCV, PCL, and Linux kernel development
- Experience with deep learning frameworks for vision applications
- Strong understanding of ARM and DSP ISAs
- Experience with Yocto or Buildroot build systems
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

- SystemC and Verilog experience
- Sensor fusion and multi-sensor systems
- Radar technologies
- DSP programming and optimization
- Hands‑on experience mapping RTL IPs to FPGA for system validation or prototyping
- Experience with FPGA‑based platforms (e.g., Zynq, Versal, or similar SoCs)
